About EURO

Welcome to The 451 Group's European Union Research Opinions (EURO) service. A regular series of EURO reports will deliver insight into EU research and development activity related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and examine the impact on the marketplace and industrial adoption. The 451 EU Research team will provide analysis of research trends, project outcomes and deliverables, along with insight into the activities of participating organizations. In addition, we will profile business cases and examine commercial opportunities.

The innovation agenda is the organizing principal of The 451 Group; therefore, a key focus for EURO will be to provide a bridge between EU research and industrial exploitation. Grid computing was the starting point for our EU work, which now encompasses a range of other relevant disciplines, including open source, security, future Internet and hosting services.
